PARIS – “Night of the Long Knives”

San Francisco Bay Area legend (Mc/Producer) PARIS returns after 6 years with his brand new single entitled “Night Of The Long Knives” from his forthcoming album “Pistol Politics” set for release early 2015.

With the events taking place across Ferguson, hip hop needs it’s revolutionary figures now more than ever and Bush Killa “Paris” is still as raw and relevant as ever, addressing the on going struggle against Police brutality.

Another banger right here and he’s definitely not holding anything back in this video as him and his crew flash the heavy artillery dressed in black combats.

Good to see him back. Expect to hear this one on The Critical Beatdown Hiphop Show.

Dr G – “The Coalition”

Dr G  Goes State Side For “The Coalition”

Its always nice to witness somebody follow their dreams and pursue something they are so passionate about. Putting in the hard work day after day, year after year to try and build a rep for yourself in a culture you have followed from such a young age.

Well that’s exactly what Manchester based producer and good personal friend DR-G has done, and with the release of his Coalition Cd he has definitely made his mark.

Myself (CRF) and DR-G have been friends for over 20 years. We used to make mixtapes back in the early 90’s and do some recordings on my old Tascam 4 track tape recorder (the Good Old Days). I could see back then from an early age that DR-G was passionate about the music and wanted to be a part of the Hip hop scene whether it be as an Mc, a Dj or a producer.

Fast forward 15-20 years and his dedication and hard work is finally paying off as his chosen path of production and beats now feature with some of Hip hops most respected mc`s.

His brand new album entitled “The Coalition” has just dropped and features many respected TrueSkool artists droppin verses over Dr-Gs quality production. Artists such as the BlastMaster Krs One, Tragedy Khadafi , Inspectah Deck , Big Noyd  and Canibus, as well as underground faves such as Mark Deez, Chox Mak , Hell Razah , Agallah ,Ty Nitty and many more.

There have been a lot of Producer / Guest Artist albums released lately and The Coalition definitely ranks alongside them. Infact DR-G is currently working alongside another favourite producer of mine “Domingo”, helping him remix his excellent album “Same Game New Rules”.

If your unfamiliar with DR-Gs production then “The Coalition” album is a good place to start. Quality throughout and with a lot more work lined up in the very near future Dr G is definitely a name your gonna hear more of.

Now I think it’s time me & him finished the collaboration track we started together 20 years ago…

In the meantime here is the first single from The Coalition album featuring Wu Tangs Inspectah Deck:

Onyx – “WakeDaFucUp” (Prod. Snowgoons)

Onyx are back with yet another quality Video from one of my favourite albums of the year “wakeDaFucUp” produced by the Snowgoons. This time it’s  the excellent track “The Realest” that gets the video treatment and like all the other videos released from WakeDaFucUp it doesn’t disappoint. Onyx keepin it Ruff Rugged & Raw as always. Now Who’s the Realest, Is It You??? YEAH YEAH. Check it out right here at The Hip hop Foundation.
